The first IMC took place from 8th – 12th, September 2019 in Innsbruck with 500+ experts, more than 40 workshops and an IMC Student4Student Summer School.[/icon_timeline_item][icon_timeline_item time_title=“2022 IMC @ Innsbruck“ title_font_color=“#ffffff“ desc_font_color=“#ffffff“]
Motivated by positive experiences and feedback from IMC2019 participants, the IMC (including a Summer School) will continue in 2022 in Innsbruck and again wants to provide a unique opportunity for experts in Mountain research to discuss a broad range of Mountain related topics.
[/icon_timeline_item][icon_timeline_item time_title=“2025 IMC @ Innsbruck“ title_font_color=“#ffffff“ desc_font_color=“#ffffff“]As the number of participants from IMC2019 to IMC2022 almost doubled and feedbacks were again positive, the conference series continues with IMC2025 in September 2025. As also the student for student summer school 2022 was fully booked and the students gave excellent feedback, another S4SSS will take place the week before IMC2025.
